That better be a very rough early "concept" Cause that completely ruins the car IMO. Hideous.

I dunno, it has a cobbled together look but I think that's because I think it is a cobbled together, certainly not finished prototype interior... some details looked "locked in", others, not so much.

Let's see...it looks like the pushbutton start is gone(?). The center stack doesn't look quite so clean as the concept - with needing an actual, real world display that is and the gauges are different too, in a more subtle way though.

All in all though, it's great to see it come together and remaining as true to the concept as it appears to be - although it has obviously changed somewhat at the same time.

As production looms closer I can't wait to see even more revealing shots of the actual production car.

Um...wow, my first reaction was how 'chunky' and big everything looks. Not very refined or stylish at all. And the console mounted gauges are as lame as the skylight in the ZR1's hood.

From the side shots it really looks like the exterior gained a lot of front overhang and some in the rear.

Guess I'm reserved to hoping this does good enough to warrant a propery designed 6th gen.

It looks to me like something I'd find in a car from the 50's. I just don't know how GM can't seem to find people who can design an interior.

Where did they find that shifter? Discount section of adameve.com?

These pics just crushed my desire for the car. I'm not selling my toy to buy that.

I really want to resist forming an opinion until I see the final product, but holysh!t, that's got to be the UGLIEST interior I can ever remember seeing.

Could be a deal killer for me.

GM has posted a non camo pic of the Camaro.

If you hate the interior, I'd recommend leaving a comment regarding it as well. Maybe we can make a change before it's too late.

Trying to be positive....I'm hoping it "works" once I can see the production version in person, because those pics.....ouch.....don't like much at all, especially the steering wheel, the large protruding HVAC knobs, and the two main gauge pods (or whatever you call them). The 4 little guages in front of the shifter are kind of neat though.

Bob

EDIT: And I'm already getting in trouble....again....on CZ28.com.

No matter how good the quality of the materials, I could not stand looking at that Camaro instrument panel day after day. If I were buying a performace car, I would just stick with a Mustang GT.

Where did the center channel in the roof go? Its on the cammo cars, but not on the uncammo'd one?
